LUIGI FERRARIS APPOINTED EXECUTIVE VICE CHAIRMAN OF CAMBIASO RISSO MARINE
Luigi Ferraris, with a solid background in the economic-financial and industrial sectors and after holding top positions in the infrastructure and energy fields, joins the management team of Cambiaso Risso. He will be responsible for strategy, development of Italian and international corporate clients, and managing the generational transition.
Luigi Ferraris is currently Vice President of Banca Passadore & C. and Senior Advisor to the infrastructure fund Energy Infrastructure and Partners.
From July 2024 to January 2025, he served as CEO and General Manager of FiberCop.
From June 2021 to June 2024, he was CEO of the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group.
In the previous three years, Ferraris served as CEO and General Manager of Terna, and from February 2015 to April 2017, he was Chief Financial Officer of the Poste Italiane Group, where he led the privatization and stock market listing process.
From April 2015 to April 2017, he was also an independent board member of the energy company ERG SpA.
From 2009 to 2014, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer at the Enel Group, which he joined in 1999. During that period, he was also Chairman of Enel Green Power, overseeing its IPO. Ferraris also served on the board of the Spanish subsidiary Endesa S.A. and the Chilean subsidiary Enersis, where he was Head of the Latin America area until January 2015.
Luigi Ferraris began his career in auditing at PriceWaterhouse in 1988 and held various managerial positions in major Italian and international industrial companies, including Agusta, Piaggio VE, Sasib Beverage, and Elsag Bailey Process Automation.
He holds a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Genoa.
He has taught Corporate Strategy at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, where he also lectured in Business Strategy and Corporate Strategies, as well as MBA courses in Energy Management, Planning and Control, Management Control Systems, and Advanced Corporate Finance at LUISS Business School.
His extensive experience in managing complex corporate organizations, combined with his ability to enhance internal resources, will enable Luigi Ferraris to guide the upcoming generational transition at Cambiaso Risso Group, now approaching its 80th anniversary.
Moreover, his expertise will contribute to the success of the Group’s path toward sustainable development and governance aligned with the company’s core values.
